Ace Hardware Punta Gorda

Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. If you're looking for anything hardware, this is your place. Isles are a little cramped but the store is packed full of product.

Walked to this store to get a bolt. Google says they are open. We walked from the Military Museum, 0.6 miles. When we arrived a sign out front said Closed till April! Tried calling no response, no message on answer machine saying they were closed. Banged on door, guy came, opened door and when we said Google said they were open he said Yeah. We've been trying to get Google to change that. Could at least put out a message on the phone stating they were closed, etc. Sorry attitude at best. Better service at Home Depot.

Contrary to the review from Chris below, this is a great local hardware store. They had a lot of damage from Hurricane Ian and had to close for a while to fix everything. Unlike "Home Depot", these guys know where every nut & bolt is can find it for you quickly and make suggestions.

Glad to see a classic hardware store still exists.

Helpful staff helped me find what I needed. ACE is the place to get what you need. Highly recommend.
